Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the fire that broke out in Dhaka

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expresses its sorrow for the loss of life and injury caused by the fire on 20 February 2019, in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, that killed over 70 people and left up to 40 injured.    


FY19 Consolidated Appropriations Act provides increased financial support to Georgia

The U.S. spending bill for 2019 - FY19 Consolidated Appropriations Act includes important passages on de-occupation of the Georgian regions and the strengthening of non-recognition policy. It needs to be emphasized that the US 2019 state budget bill provides increased support for Georgia.
