Republic of Senegal

A citizen of Georgia planning to travel to the Republic of Senegal is required to apply for a respective visa (tourist, business, or any other type of visa).

Visas are issued by the Consular Service of the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal in Moscow (Russian Federation).

A list of documents to be submitted to the consular service:

  • 1 visa application form to be completed at: visasenegal.sn
  • 2 biometric photos taken during the last 6 months;
  • Invitation;
  • Letter from the employer translated into English and notarized (indicating the applicant’s position, salary, duration of employment; the employer’s guarantee that the applicant will be restored to his/her position of employment after return to his/her country of origin);
  • Proof of financial support (e.g. employment income of the last 6 months, credit card and bank account statements, etc);
  • Passport valid for the next 6 months;
  • Ticket;
  • Hotel reservation;
  • Visa fee: euro 52.

On the 4th of February 2014 a new biometric system was introduced according to which an applicant applies online for a Senegalese visa and receives a so-called provisional visa which he/she files with the embassy in person together with a visa fee payment receipt.
