Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia from 8 January 2016 to date.
Zviad Gonadze was born in Tbilisi, on 6 May 1967.
In 1989 - graduated from the faculty of physics at the Tbilisi State University; in 1994 – completed Master’s Programme in Economics at the Middle Tennessee State University.
In 1989-1992 - worked as a scientific worker at the Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University.
In 1994-2000 - served as Head of the Service of International Financial Organisations and Donor Countries at the Cabinet of Ministers and later at the President’s Chancellery; Head of the Secretariat of the Consultative Council on Foreign Investments under the President of Georgia.
2000-2004 – Executive Director of the Social Investments Fund (LEPL).
2004-2012 – worked in the private sector in different capacities: head of business projects; Director of the wine companies: Aleksandreuli, Geovine Invest and Geovine International; Director of the Saman Financial Investment Group.
From December 2012 to 7 January 2016 – Director of the State Service Bureau Ltd.
