Fields of Cooperation

Georgia and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg enjoy friendly relations. Cooperation within the international organizations is very dynamic. Luxemburg supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It’s worth to mention that in 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, Mr. Jean Asselborn, had an official visit in Georgia.

The legal base between Georgia and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg covers 5 agreements that regulate areas such as economy, transport and defense. Lately both countries expresses desire to develop bilateral trade and economic relations.

Cooperation is especially well developed in banking and financial sector. Expert cooperation is ongoing actively with Luxembourg Financial Technology Transfer Agency (ATTF).
