The U.S. congressmen have visited the village along the occupation line

Tbilisi, 29 August 2016 - Duncan Hunter, Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California and Mark Sanford, Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina visited the village of Khurvaleti along the occupation line. They saw for themselves the situation on the ground and spoke with the local population on the complicated humanitarian and social situation there.
 
The U.S. Congressmen arrived in Georgia for a period from 27 to 30 August. Within the framework of the visit they will hold meetings with the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.
 
Duncan Hunter and Mark Sanford also visited the Krtsanisi training centre and made a tour of cultural and historical sites in the Kakheti region.
