Giorgi Kvirikashvili: „Slovakia is one of strongest supporters of Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration”

Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili commented on the visit of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to Slovakia. According to the Foreign Minister, during the meetings with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Parliament Speaker Peter Pellegrini, Slovakia’s strong and unequivocal support for Georgia’s European integration has been reaffirmed.   
 
“Georgia carries out active co-operation with Slovakia, which is one of strongest supporters of Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The Slovak Prime Minister reaffirmed  Slovakia’s strong support for Georgia’s European aspirations, putting particular emphasis on significance of the visa-liberalization dialogue”, the Foreign Minister stated.
 
In the frames of the Prime Minister’s visit to Slovakia, two agreements on co-operation in the spheres of fight against crime and readmission were signed between the two Ministers of Internal Affairs. And one agreement on co-operation in the sphere of transport was signed between the Ministries of Economy of Georgia and Slovakia.  
 
The official visit of the Georgian Prime Minister started on 13 November 2015. The Georgian delegation also included Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili and Minister of Agriculture Otar Danelia.
