The Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister has met the Foreign Ministers of Montenegro and Slovenia

On the sidelines of the 22nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met his counterparts, Montenegro’s Foreign Minister Igor Lukšić and Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated Igor Lukšić on NATO’s decision to invite Montenegro to become a full member of the Alliance and thanked the colleague for strong support of Georgia’s integration with the Euro-Atlantic structures.  

Discussions focused on the future co-operation between Georgia and Montenegro. The two sides agreed to intensify the development of the trade and economic relations between their countries, to enhance co-operation in the sphere of tourism and to develop people-to-people relations.
At the meeting with the Slovenian Foreign Minister, the traditional friendly relations between Georgia and Slovenia were reaffirmed. Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Karl Erjavec underlined an existing huge potential for developing economic relations. Karl Erjavec expressed his readiness to visit Georgia together with representatives of the Slovenian business circle.
