Davit Zalkaliani has participated in the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference

The Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani delivered a speech at the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference held in Vienna, on 28 June 2016.
 
At the working session dedicated to the conflict situations in the OSCE area, the First Deputy Foreign Minister spoke extensively about the human rights violations and the difficult security situation in Georgia’s occupied territories.
 
Davit Zalkaliani paid special attention to the murder of Giga Otkhozoria on 19 May, in the village of Khurcha - a territory controlled by the Government of Georgia.
 
The First Deputy Foreign Minister emphasised the importance of the Geneva International Discussions and the need to increase OSCE engagement in the peaceful resolution of the Georgian-Russian conflict.
At the special working session dedicated to Ukraine, Davit Zalkaliani reaffirmed Georgia’s strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
