The Georgian Foreign Ministry has hosted the presentation of the Lithuanian-Georgian phrasebook

On 13 November 2015, the Georgian Foreign Ministry hosted the presentation of the Lithuanian-Georgian phrasebook “Let's get acquainted with Lithuania and speak Lithuanian!” issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Georgia.

Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze and Lithuanian Ambassador to Georgia Giedrius Puodžiūnas addressed the attending audience, underlining that this project is yet another demonstration of the existing historical ties and friendly relations between their two countries that promotes popularisation of Lithuania in Georgia.  Gigi Gigiadze welcomed carrying out of such projects and initiatives in the future by the embassies of other countries in order to further strengthen cultural and people-to-people ties.

The presentation was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and students of the Centre for the Lithuanian Language and Culture at the Georgian Technical University. The authors of the Lithuanian-Georgian phrasebook – spouse of the former Lithuanian Ambassador to Georgia  Dalia Paslauskiene and embassy official Gvantsa Keshelava – also attended the ceremony.
