The Programme on Co-operation in the Fields of Culture, Education, Science, Youth and Sports have been signed between the Georgian and Romanian Foreign Ministries

 On 27 February 2015, on the sidelines of the visit of the Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili to Romania, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Tamar Beruchashvili and her Romanian counterpart, Bogdan Aurescu signed the five-year Programme on Co-operation between the Government of Romania and the Government of Georgia in the Fields of Culture, Education, Science, Youth and Sports.
Co-operation in the field of culture imples the enhancement of co-operation in different directions and the conduction of exchange programmes for cultural experts and cultural figures.
Co-operation in the fields of education and science implies the expansion of contacts between different educational and scientific institutions, the mutual exchange of students and researchers and the conduction of the joint scientific researches.      
Co-operation in the fields of sports and youth provides for the establishment of links between youth sports organisations of the two countries as well as for the conduction of various sports competitions and exchange programmes.    
Promotion of bilateral relations between the national TV-companies of the two countries, organisation of exchange programmes for experts and journalists and raising society’s awareness of bilateral relations and European values are envisaged by the co-operation in the mass media sphere.
