The Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister has met Political directors of the Foreign Ministries of the Visegrád Four (V4)

On 5 November 2015, a meeting was held between Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze and Political Directors of the Foreign Ministries of the Visegrád Four (V4) - Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic – who are visiting Tbilisi in the frames of the regional tour.

Discussions focused on the existing relations between Georgia and the Visegrád Four, on Georgia’s integration with the European and Euro-Atlantic structures as well as on the regional security environment.  

Gigi Gigiadze thanked the Visegrád Four members for Georgia’s active support and expressed the hope that the existing co-operation between the Visegrád Four and Georgia will be strengthening in the future as well.

The Political Directors, in turn, reaffirmed their countries’ strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, European and Euro-Atlantic integration.    

In the frames of the visit, the Political Directors held meetings at the Defence Ministry, at the State Ministry for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and met the Prime Minister's Special Representative for Relations with Russia.
