Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Jalagania met Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy to Georgia Nicholas Berliner

On 13 November 2015, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Jalagania met Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy to Georgia Nicholas Berliner, at the initiative of the U.S. side.
 
Discussions focused on the ongoing co-operation within the framework of strategic partnership between the two countries, including the meeting of the Democracy and Governance Working Group held on 12 November 2015, under the U.S.-Georgia Charter on Strategic Partnership, and the meeting of the People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges Working Group due to be conducted on 13 November.
 
Talking points also included the ongoing dynamic co-operation between Georgia and the U.S. both in bilateral and multilateral formats and prospects for the further strengthening of this co-operation.
 
Close attention was paid to the issues relating to regional security, global challenges facing the international community, including the rapid climate change.
 
At the end of the meeting the sides agreed to continue close co-operation in the aforesaid and other important areas.
