Statement of the Georgian Foreign Ministry in reaction to the terror attack in Bamako, the capital of Mali

The Georgian Foreign Ministry strictly condemns the terror attack that hit the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako, the capital of Mali, on 20 November 2015 and left innocent people dead.  
 
The Georgian Foreign Ministry conveys its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives or were injured in this outrageous attack, as well as to the governments of those countries whose citizens were victims of the tragedy.
 
Over the past few years Mali has been facing tremendous challenges in combating extremism through the support of the UN and various states. Maintaining peace and stability in Mali still remains the important focus of the international community. The Georgian Foreign Ministry expresses its full support to Mali and its people in their efforts to further strengthen peace and security and to eradicate terrorism.
