​The Agreement with Eurojust will deepen Georgia-EU co-operation in the area of criminal law and fight against organized crime

12.03.2019, Tbilisi - Georgia will sign an agreement with the  EU agency Eurojust – the Georgian Foreign Minister, David Zalkaliani announced about this decision following the government meeting at the Prime Minister’s Administration. The Agreement will contribute to the development of Georgia-EU co-operation in the area of criminal law and fight against organized crime.

“This is a very important agreement fully in line with Georgia’s EU  integration process, especially in terms of developing sectoral co-operation with the EU” – the Minister said.

David Zalkaliani highlighted the priority area of co-operation with Eurojust and the benefits the Agreement will bring to the country.

Speaking with journalists, David Zalkaliani paid special attention to Georgia’s foreign policy document which will approved in the near future and which fully conforms to the agreement with Eurojust.
