​David Dondua has met UNDP Resident Representative to Georgia Niels Scott

28.09.2017, Tbilisi –Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Dondua held a meeting with UNDP Resident Representative to Georgia Niels Scott.

Discussions focused on the recent developments in Georgia’s occupied territories, as well as  on the agenda of the next round of the Geneva International Discussions. Special attention was paid to the issues relating to installation of barbed wire fences and artificial barriers along the occupation line, continuous discrimination of ethnic Georgians in the occupied territories, including the banning of the Georgian language instruction.

David Dondua expressed his gratitude to Niels Scott for the initiatives undertaken by the UNDP for the improvement of the human rights and humanitarian situation in Georgia’s occupied territories. The sides agreed on future plans of co-operation.
