David Zalkaliani has met with the foreign diplomats accredited with the UN

 18.04.2019, Tbilisi – Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a meeting with Permanent Representatives of  the Dominican Republic the Kingdom of Eswatini, Finland, the Marshall Islands the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Senegal accredited with the UN.

Discussions focused on the reforms and projects ongoing in Georgia. The Minister updated the diplomats accredited with the UN on the difficult human rights situation in Georgia’s occupied territories.
 
The meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the diplomats accredited with the UN to Georgia. The diplomats explored the ongoing processes in Georgia. They visited the occupation line in Khurvaleti and the densely populated settlement of IDPs in Tserovani. The Ambassadors also arrived in the Achara and Kakheti regions to get acquainted with the specifics of the Public Service Hall of Georgia, the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 112 Agency, Joint Operations Centre and Sarpi customs checkpoint.
 
The delegation held meetings with the President of Georgia, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Deputy State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and representatives of the Autonomous Republic of Achara.
