12.02.2018, Tbilisi - Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze  held a meeting with Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Co-Presidents: Rebecca Harms, a member of the European Parliament and  Marian Lupu, a member of the Moldovan Parliament.
 
Highly appraising Georgia’s progress on the European integration path and the reforms implemented by the government, the sides welcomed the close co-operation between Georgia and the European Parliament and highlighted the latter’s role in facilitating Georgia’s European integration. Special attention was paid to the European Parliament’s resolution adopted in support for Georgia within the framework of the Eatsern Partnership Summit.
 
The sides underlined the need to continue successful Georgia-EU co-opertaion in the area of strategic communication and the fight against anti-western propaganda. The necessity of maintaining the progress achieved in the implementation of the VLAP was also highlighted.
 
 Chair of the EU Integration Committee under the Parliament of Georgia Tamar Khulordava also attended the meeting.
