20.04.2017, Tbilisi – Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a working meeting with his Hungarian counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó who arrived in Georgia within the framework of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s visit to Georgia.
The Ministers noted with satisfaction high-level meetings, which are scheduled to be held as part of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s visit and which will further contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mikheil Janelidze paid special attention to friendly and partner relations between Georgia and Hungary. Péter Szijjártó introduced to Mikheil Janelidze Zaza Charkviani - candidate for Hungary’s honorary consul to Georgia.
According to the Ministers, the Honorary Consul Institute will promote the development of trade-economic co-operation.
Zaza Charkviani held the title of Hungary’s honorary consul to Georgia during the period from 2003 to 2011. Starting from 1997, he is the Director of the Georgian Office of Gedeon Richter – a Hungarian pharmaceutical company.
