Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia regarding the launch of ballistic missiles by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)

01.05.2017, Tbilisi - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expresses its deep concern over the DPRK’s violation of a number of international obligations and UN SC resolutions and condemns the test-firing of ballistic missiles by Pyongyang, on 29 April 2017.
As a member state of the Nonproliferation Treaty and Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, Georgia opposes any action contradicting international nonproliferation efforts and posing a threat to the security and stability of the region.
