Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia regarding the launch of ballistic missiles by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)

15.05.2017, Tbilisi - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expresses its deep concern over the DPRK’s systematic violation of a number of international obligations and UN SC resolutions and condemns yet another test-firing of ballistic missiles by Pyongyang, on 14 May  2017.

As a member state of the Nonproliferation Treaty and Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, Georgia distances itself from any activity posing a threat to interntional security, as well as to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
