Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in reaction to the acts committed by the Taliban in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expresses its deep concern and condemns the terrorist attack committed by the Taliban on 24 July 2017, in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan resulting in the death of tens of people. 
 
Supporting the efforts of the international community and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan aimed at eradicating violent extremism and strengthening security in the country, Georgia expresses the hope that the Afghan people will be able to overcome the challenges on the path of building a stable and peaceful state.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia conveys its condolences to the government of Afghanistan and the families of those who were killed by terrorists and wishes speedy recovery to those who have been injured in the attack.
