On March 2, 2010 in Budapest, within the framework of the meeting of Eastern Partnership, European Union Troika, Baltic countries and the countries of Visegrad Group, the informal meeting of the Heads of delegations of the GUAM member-states took place.

The sides considered issue of further consolidation of GUAM member-states positions in the framework of "Eastern Partnership" initiative. In this regard, the necessity of elaboration of joint projects was underscored for further presentation to the European Union and joint implementation. Issues of on-going cooperation in GUAM format were also discussed during the meeting.
