Chronology of Diplomatic Relations

Diplomatic Relations between Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan were established on July 12, 1994.

Fields of Cooperation

In cooperation with the International Coalition Georgia makes significant contribution to the process of ensuring peace and stability in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. This is the main priority of Georgia`s Foreign Policy towards Afghanistan. Almost one thousand Georgian militaries have been deployed in Afghanistan to fulfill the aforementioned mission.
