Within the framework of his visit to Moldova, Ilia Darchiashvili has met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilița

The sides noted with satisfaction the good dynamics in terms of exchange of high-level visits, which contribute to the further strengthening and deepening of ties between the two countries.
Special mention was made of the tangible results achieved by Georgia and Moldova on the path of European integration, as reflected in the decision of the European Union.
The sides emphasized the need for further cooperation, including in the process of implementing the reforms envisaged by the EU recommendations and the Association Agreement. The importance of sharing experience and coordination in this regard was also noted.
At the meeting with the Prime Minister of Moldova, special attention was paid to the existing agenda of bilateral relations, including to the strengthening of trade and economic ties and to the effective use of free trade with the European Union. The sides agreed to start work on holding a joint intergovernmental economic commission in the near future.
Discussions also focused on opportunities for cooperation in terms of effective use of transport-transit routes.
