On 26 March 2026, within the framework of a working visit to Georgia, a representative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Peter Andreoli, held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili.
The parties discussed the engagement of the United States in the South Caucasus region, as well as ongoing regional developments.
The discussion also addressed current issues of cooperation between Georgia and the United States.
Particular attention was devoted to the Middle Corridor and to Georgia’s role as a regional connector and transportation hub.
The meeting further underscored the United States’ firm support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its non-recognition policy.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Georgian side’s willingness and readiness to reset relations with the United States and to renew the strategic partnership.
