 Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili has met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Georgia

On 11 March 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Georgia, Hyondu Kim.

The Deputy Minister welcomed the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Tbilisi, emphasizing that this significant step would further enhance bilateral cooperation. He also extended his best wishes to the Ambassador for success in his future endeavors.

Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili expressed gratitude to the Korean side for its unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for future collaboration. The discussion covered high-level visits, inter-parliamentary cooperation, the enhancement of the legal framework, and the expansion of cooperation in trade, economy, culture, and education.

Additionally, the two parties exchanged views on ongoing regional and international developments.
