On 11 June 2025, in Budapest, the second session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Summit was held under the co-chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Hungary.
As part of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Summit held in Budapest, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó.
From 10 to 12 June 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, participated in the work of the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
An official inauguration ceremony was held in the city of Milan, Italy, to mark the opening of the Consulate General of Georgia. The event was attended by high-ranking guests invited from both Georgia and Italy.
"The opening of Georgia’s diplomatic mission in Milan—one of Europe’s most important diplomatic hubs—covering eight regions of Italy, represents a significant step forward in Georgian-Italian relations," stated Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, during her address at the ceremonial event.
“Our recent history has taught us that development cannot be achieved without peace. That is why we are committed to preserving peace within our country and, consequently, securing a better future. Among European cities, Tbilisi stands out as a city for which war and its devastating consequences are not a distant memory,” stated Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili during her address at the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development held in Tbilisi.
