Maka Botchorishvili Holds  an Introductory Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia

On 4 September 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia, Barbara Voss.

The meeting focused on relations between Georgia and Germany. The discussions also covered relations with the European Union.

The sides discussed ongoing developments in Georgia and the region. Particular emphasis was placed on security challenges and the importance of peace.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia wished the German Ambassador success in her future work and expressed hope that Ambassador Voss will make a positive contribution to the further development of relations between the two countries.
