Aleksander Khvtisiashvili has met with Minister of State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi

On 28 May 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksander Khvtisiashvili, held a meeting with Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State of the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within multilateral formats. They emphasized the importance of recent high-level visits and those planned for the near future. In this context, particular attention was drawn to the successful visit of Georgia’s First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, to Qatar in May of this year.

The meeting underscored the significance of further deepening relations in all key areas, including trade, economy, and tourism.

The two sides also exchanged views on current developments and challenges in the Black Sea, Caucasus, and Middle East regions. Both parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen the existing cooperation between Georgia and Qatar.
