Ilia Darchiashvili has met with the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia held a meeting with the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, within the framework of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the ministers praised the close friendship and high-level political dialogue between Georgia and Croatia, exemplified by the opening of the Georgian Embassy in Croatia last year. The ministers discussed prospects for the development of trade, economic, and people-to-people contacts, as well as the further strengthening of cooperation formats between the two countries' foreign ministries. In addition to other important issues in bilateral relations, the discussion touched upon Georgia's European integration process and the security environment in the region. The ministers also highly valued the cooperation between the two countries within international organizations. The Georgian Minister expressed gratitude to his Croatian counterpart for supporting Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and European aspirations.
