Ilia Darchiashvili has held an introductory meeting with his Latvian colleague

During the events marking the 20th anniversary of the European Union's 2004 enlargement organized by the Belgian Presidency, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili had an introductory meeting with Baiba Braže, his Latvian counterpart.

The meeting centered on the cooperation agenda between their countries, including discussions on ongoing processes and the security landscape in the region. A significant topic was EU enlargement, with positive acknowledgment that the enlargement package countries were invited to the General Affairs Council for the first time this year.

Both parties expressed readiness for continued cooperation in the future.
