Ilia Darchiashvili has met with the commander of the U.S. European Command

During the Munich Conference, the Georgian Foreign Minister held a meeting with Christopher Gerard Cavoli, the commander of United States European Command.

During their discussion, they explored the main aspects of the established strategic alliance between Georgia and the USA.

The meeting underscored the United States’ resolute political and practical support for Georgia.

Significant attention was directed towards the security landscape in the region and the situation in Georgia's occupied territories. The growing significance of the Black Sea region, encompassing security and economic aspects, was acknowledged.

Furthermore, it was highlighted that the USA remains steadfast in supporting Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and foreign policy objectives.
