On 26 June 2025, an introductory meeting was held between Khatuna Totladze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and Hyondu Kim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues regarding bilateral relations and explored future cooperation prospects. Particular attention was given to collaboration on consular matters and the importance of further developing the tourism sector.
Both sides noted that the opening of the Republic of Korea’s first resident embassy in Georgia will significantly contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations and the enhancement of people-to-people contacts.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Totladze wished Ambassador Kim success in his future endeavors.
