Teimuraz Janjalia has met with the Croatian ambassador

On 13 June 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teimuraz Janjalia, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Georgia (with residence in Baku), Branko Zebić.

At the meeting, the sides reviewed the issues of bilateral cooperation on the agenda. Special emphasis was put on the importance of opening the Embassy of Georgia to Croatia. The sides also expressed the readiness to activate a regular political dialogue.

The conversation also touched on the process of Georgia's integration into the European Union. The deputy minister provided the Croatian ambassador with detailed information about the reforms implemented by Georgia and the progress achieved in the process of implementing the European Commission’s 12 recommendations. In this context, the sides paid special attention to the importance of partners’ firm support in this process.
