State flags have been lowered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs buildings and Georgia's diplomatic missions abroad

On 8 August 2024, to mark the 16th anniversary of the Georgia-Russia war, state flags were lowered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgia's diplomatic representations abroad, and consular institutions.

It is also noteworthy that Georgian diplomatic missions around the world are organizing various activities in connection with the 16th anniversary of the war.
