Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in the OSCE Annual High-Level Security Review Conference

Giorgi Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, participated in the OSCE Annual High-Level Security Review Conference, held in Vienna on 25-26 June 2025.


In his address, Deputy Minister Zurabashvili highlighted the security challenges facing the region and drew attention to the situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali/South Ossetia, emphasizing the dire humanitarian and security conditions on the ground.


On the sidelines of the conference, the Deputy Minister held meetings with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu and Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre, Kate Fearon. The discussions focused on the OSCE’s significant role and active engagement in the peaceful resolution of conflicts, the ongoing Geneva International Discussions, and reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to the core principles of the Organization. The parties also acknowledged the fruitful cooperation between Georgia and various OSCE institutions.


During the meetings, the participants once again reaffirmed their unequivocal support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
