Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Albania were established on 8 July 1993.
Main Fields of Cooperation
Cooperation in multilateral formats is more active than dynamics of bilateral relations. Three international agreements are concluded between Georgia and the Republic of Albania, which regulate cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence and visa-free travel issues for diplomatic and official passport holders. In addition, significant direction of cooperation between the two countries is an experience sharing of the successfully implementing reforms in the field of Justice.
