Lasha Darsalia's working visit to the Republic of Peru
On 17 and 18 August 2023, as part of his regional tour, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, visited the Republic of Peru with a delegation of the Ministry.
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Peru were established on January 14, 2010.
In October, 2010, the political consultations between the Georgian and Peruvian parties were held in the capital of Peru, Lima. Perspectives of the development of bilateral political, economic and cultural relations were discussed.
In November, 2010, the Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Peru Roberto Rodriges visited Georgia in the frame of the visit of Latin American countries Ambassadors in the UN.
On July 28, 2011 President of Georgia took part in the inauguration ceremony of the President of Peru Olanta Humala.
On August 9, 2012 Inter-Parliamentary Group of Friendship Peru-Georgia was established.
