Maka Botchorishvili Holds Farewell Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria

On 1 July 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Georgia, Vesselin Valkanov, upon the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues on the bilateral agenda. Particular attention was devoted to the importance of cooperation in the Black Sea region and relations with the European Union.

The Minister expressed her gratitude to the Ambassador for his service in Georgia and wished him every success in his future endeavors.
