Maka Botchorishvili Meets with Her Hungarian Counterpart, Anita Orbán

On the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Anita Orbán.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral relations, which are based on a strategic partnership. Particular attention was paid to the importance of high-level political dialogue and plans for future cooperation.

The sides highlighted Georgia-Hungary cooperation in the area of connectivity and noted the importance of the Green Corridor.

The discussion also covered issues related to relations with the European Union and the importance of Hungary’s support.

The Ministers expressed their readiness to continue regular dialogue.
