On the margins of the United Nations High-Level Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Gambia, Mamadou Tangara. The discussion focused on bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations.
The Gambian side expressed particular interest in learning from Georgia’s experience in the development of public services and the digital economy. The parties also touched upon opportunities for cooperation in the field of education.
Minister Botchorishvili also held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Equatorial Guinea, Simeón Oyono Esono Angüe.
The discussion focused on bilateral cooperation within international platforms, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of upholding the principles of international law. In this context, the significance of support from the international community - including Equatorial Guinea - within the framework of the United Nations was highlighted.
