Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia George Zakarashvili Presents his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

George Zakarashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

At the meeting held as part of the credential presentation ceremony, the parties underscored the good-neighbourly, friendly and strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan and highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation across various fields. The importance of fostering people-to-people contacts and promoting regional stability was also highlighted. 

Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Georgian Ambassador on assuming his post and wished him success in his diplomatic endeavours.
