On 27 June 2026, within the framework of the Dubrovnik Forum, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tone Kajzer.
The parties reviewed the current agenda of Georgia-Slovenia bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to strengthening political dialogue and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The discussion also covered Georgia-European Union relations, with emphasis placed on the importance of Slovenia's support in this process.
The Ministers also exchanged views on the ongoing developments in Georgia and the security challenges facing the region. In this context, they reviewed the situation in Georgia's occupied regions.
The issues discussed during the meeting further included cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
