The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili hosted representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia at a traditional grape harvest in Tsinandali.
The diplomats were introduced to the centuries-old history, culture and traditions of Georgian wine, as well as contemporary trends in wine production.
The guests had the opportunity to view unique grape varieties and participate in the grape harvest and the grape-crushing process.
The event also featured a tasting of Georgian wines and culinary masterclasses.
The event was also attended by Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili and State Representative in the Kakheti Region Platon Kalmakhelidze.
