Maka Botchorishvili has met with the Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Georgia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Ambassador-designate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Georgia, Qasim Mohiuddin (residing in Baku). The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope for the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting addressed both bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of enhancing trade and economic ties. The discussion also highlighted prospects for fostering business-to-business connections and strengthening investment partnerships. The two sides also touched upon cooperation in the field of education, with tourism identified as a priority area.

The parties welcomed the launch of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Georgia and Pakistan, as well as their mutual support within international organizations. The importance of high-level visits and exchanges was also underscored.
Additionally, the meeting included an exchange of views on global security issues and current challenges. Minister Botchorishvili expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
