The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Enrique A. Manalo, on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue, an international forum taking place in India.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the bilateral and multilateral relations between Georgia and the Philippines. They explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas such as education, tourism, innovation, trade, and other sectors. Additionally, they exchanged views on Georgia’s experience in implementing reforms aimed at improving public services and the business environment.
The discussion also covered the successful collaboration between Georgia and the Philippines within international organizations, including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), where Georgia holds observer status. Both parties expressed hope that during the Philippines' chairmanship next year, further efforts will be made to strengthen Georgia’s cooperation with the countries of the region.
