Ilia Darchiashvili has met with the Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Scott Nathan

On 18 February 2024, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili met with the Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Scott Nathan, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.

The sides explored the key areas of strategic partnership between the two countries and the possibilities for future collaboration, particularly in bolstering economic ties and attracting investments. They highlighted the considerable capabilities of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation in enhancing connections between trade and financial sectors.

Special emphasis was placed on the increasing economic opportunities within the Black Sea region, underscoring the importance of further enhancing cooperation in this regard.
