On 21 September 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Khatuna Totladze participated in the high-level event “Youth for a Better Future,” dedicated to the International Day of Peace and addressed the attendees.
The Deputy Minister spoke about Georgia’s policy of de-occupation, as well as its policy of reconciliation and confidence-building between people divided by occupation lines.
She underscored the importance of international support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Khatuna Totladze highlighted the role of conflict-affected youth in the peacebuilding process and emphasized the importance of their engagement in the reunification of the country and its secure development.
The event was organized by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and was attended by representatives of the government and international organizations.
