Lasha Darsalia Meets with UNV Deputy Executive Coordinator Louise Chamberlain

On 11 September 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Darsalia held a meeting with Louise Chamberlain, Deputy Executive Coordinator of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Programme.

The discussion focused on the close partnership between the Government of Georgia and the United Nations. Particular attention was paid to the efforts undertaken by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote sustainable development in Georgia.

Louise Chamberlain briefed the Georgian side on the key areas of activity of the UN Volunteers Programme.

The sides discussed ways to further deepen cooperation between Georgia and the UNV.
