Maka Botchorishvili Meets State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Damjan Jović

On 17 September 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, who is visiting Georgia with a delegation as part of the bilateral political consultations.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and Serbia. The importance of exchanging high-level visits was highlighted.

The importance of further deepening sectoral cooperation between the two countries, including in the area of trade and economic relations, was also emphasized. Particular attention was paid to the ongoing negotiations on concluding a free trade agreement.

The sides reaffirmed their firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries.
